For over two hundred and fifty years organised Freemasonry has stood the test of time.
Dare we hope that in another two hundred and fifty the Craft will still be in existence?
There is much evidence that the Craft as we know it will decline and die.
For a long time we have been aware of this move towards extinction but have been content to ignore the evidence, turn our backs on what Freemasonry teaches us and recline in comfortable self-satisfaction, sure, if we think about it at all, that someday the Craft will resurrect itself.
The tragedy is that so many in all ranks and degrees of Freemasonry are aware of the dangers confronting the Craft, but are unwilling either to admit the facts or to take any positive action to halt the progress of events and to do anything to save the situation.
