During the last few years I have heard many interesting, intelligent and instructive addresses in our Masonic Lodges.
Some of the lecturers on those occasions have dealt with the history of Freemasonry ; they have dealt, probably, with some of the symbols ; they have dealt with the interpretation of Masonic hieroglyphics ; some have with architecture, some with chemistry, and with other scientific subjects.
The field that has been covered has been very extensive indeed and the benefits that must accrue to the brethren who have been privileged to hear those lectures, and to our institution in general, cannot but be very considerable.
