This paper purports to give a detailed account of the installation of the W.M. in a Craft Lodge in
Malaya, as practised under the English Constitution.
In Malaya there are two District Grand Lodges: the Eastern Archipelago, which is English and the Middle East, which is Scottish. Although the working of the degrees by the English and Scottish Lodges shows great varia:ions, the ceremony of installing the W.M. is almost identical in the two bodies, the difference here being due mainly to the administrative variations between the two constitutions.
I shall mention the important differences as the occasion arises.
