Recently. Free Masonry has been receiving much publicity in the newspapers.
Two identical articles have appeared in the "Ashburton Guardian" and also one in the "Christchurch Press"; an article compiled by Michael Wise of Reuters (through the N.Z.P.A.) explaining changes made in the Ritual by the Grand Lodge of England.
Wise goes on to say "The Freemasons" pledge that their tongues would be cut out and their throats slit if they broke oaths of membership long worried many admitted to the all-male society.
