The Legend of the Third Degree is one of the most important and interesting portions of the ritual of Craft Masonry.
Most Masons on completing the third degree and looking back on the three ceremonies through which they have passed will find that what has impressed them most is the legend of the third degree.
The newly raised brother will naturally desire to know more of the legend and the first place he will look for information will be the Volume of the Sacred Law.
