In the few moments at my disposal, I wish to speak of one or two points, attention to which, it is suggested, will enable a man to derive the fullest benefits from what Masonry has to give.
Significance of Initiation.
The initiation of a man into the Degree of Entered Apprentice is described in our ritual as "an emblematical representation of the entrance of all men on this, their mortal existence."
The ceremony is without doubt the passing from the darkness of ignorance to the light of knowledge - but knowledge of a special kind.
