At the annual communication of Grand Lodge in Christchurch last May I was granted six months holiday, and before that month was out I was on my way to Sydney to join the Orient liner “Otway” accompanied by my wife, who, like myself, was born in New Zealand, and had never visited the ‘Old Land’.
