Within Freemasonry there are affiliated Orders that are exclusively Christian, requiring of their members, and of those aspiring to join them, a belief in the Holy Trinity.
Of those Orders, there are inter-related Orders which are commemorative revivals of the historic Crusader Orders of warrior monks who defended Christianity in the Holy Land and elsewhere.
The Masonic memorial Crusader Orders exist under the auspices of the Holy Royal Arch and are at the pinnacle of the so-called ‘higher degrees’ ritual sequence known as the York Rite.
