I suppose the gist of what I have to say to you to-night is that Freemasonry, in my view, doesn't wear its heart on its sleeve.
It doesn't reveal itself easily but will respond—and respond richly to those who obey the Biblical injunction, "Seek and Ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you."
At least, that has been my experience and I should think it had been the experience of many of you too, for is not diligent exploration the very essence of the purpose of a Research Lodge?
