We all know that the First Degree deals with birth, the entrance of all men on this their mortal existence.
Likewise the Second deals with life, or that period in our existence from just after birth until the day's work is done, when we go into the M.C. to receive our reward.
It deals with all aspects of this life, the blending of the body with the soul; the mortal with the immortal; the destructible with the indestructible; the material with the spiritual, and if the Mark Degree is added to that of the F.C., which was, I understand, the prevailing custom at one time, then it records his acts, achievements, disappointments and failures.
