Our subject this evening lends itself to consideration in either one of two aspects.
Merely as to its material construction, or in its larger and deeper, yet more intricate, significance as a symbol representing hidden truths, whose import can be understood only by such as are able to penetrate the surface.
To attempt an interpretation of the truths of which the Tabernacle in the Wilderness was the symbol is not my intention, my aim being the more modest one of describing, as far as I am able from the available data, the design and dimensions of the material tabernacle.
