IN the explanation of the Second Tracing Board, Astronomy is placed last of the seven liberal arts and sciences, but you must not assume, therefore, that it is least in importance. You know from the Final Charge in the First Degree that in all ages the best, the greatest, and the wisest of men have been promoters of the Art of Freemasonry, and from the explanation of the First Tracing Board that the usages and customs among Freemasons have ever borne an affinity to those of the ancient Egyptians.
