Our lectures commenced on 29th April, when we had an elocutionary treat from Wor. Bro. Lawrence Campbell, his lecture being entitled " Masonic Ideals from the Poets," and some of his numerous quotations might well be made use of to improve our Masonic oratory.
This was followed by a lecture on "Ceremonial Impressions," by Bro. H. W. Mander. It is a pity that this lecture cannot be reproduced in full in our Transactions, but too much of it is not for the profane, whose eyes may peruse our work.
