Solomon's Temple has always had a fascination for me, particularly since I studied the weights and values of the gold and silver used in its ornamentation. The whole thing is so fantastic that it staggers the imagination.
Saul was King of Israel for forty years, and although he enlarged the kingdom to a certain extent, his lack of faith in God's power, so amply evinced when He delivered the children of Israel from their Egyptian bondage, prevented him from making anything really great of himself or his kingdom.
