1985 – FREEMASONRY PHILOSOPHY AND FACT – Bro. J. W. Vivian.

Description

It stood stark and unpretentious in the fading light.

Neatly cut grass surrounded its flanks.

No fence to curtail the activities of the sparse community.

It occupied a prominent corner position in this very pretty township facing out to one of the most beautiful landscapes in this fair country.

The off-white paint, the gloss long dulled by the elements and the passing of time, was chipped and curling along the edges of the weatherboards.

Its rustic architectural charm was reminiscent of that period of time over a century ago.

The population long gone. Its use no longer required, its windows now carefully shielded by curtains which had seen better days.
