In supporting the title of my paper, let me say without enlargement, that though every good citizen may not make a good Mason, every good Mason, with correct conception of his responsibilities and obligations, must be a good citizen.
His usefulness as such should be vastly increased and fortified because he is a Freemason.
On these assumptions, therefore, I am adopting an unorthodox course this evening in presenting certain material which I hope will provoke thought, discussion and criticism, and have purposely made myself vulnerable.
