1911 – THOUGHTS OF AN ENTERED APPRENTICE – Bro. C, HOWARD TRIPP. Back May 16, 2025 by Kerry Nicholls   Document 1911-THOUGHTS-OF-AN-ENTERED-APPRENTICE-Bro.-C-HOWARD-TRIPP Download Metadata DescriptionI used to be much interested in the extraordinary contrast between the religions of the Old Testament and that of the New Testament. The Old Testament worships the God of War and is a religion of enmity; the New worships the God of Humility, and is a religion of amity or love. The Old sanctioned an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, and directed the Israelites to go and slay the Amalekites and to destroy the Philistines. The New directs those smitten on one cheek to turn the other, and to do harm to no one. I used to wonder at the absence of any intermediary religion between the two great opposite standards.Title1911 - THOUGHTS OF AN ENTERED APPRENTICE - Bro. C, HOWARD TRIPP.
