One may ask of what interest the subject of the calendar could be to Freemasonry.
Well, it is hard to think of anything more central to our daily lives and yet more strange and full of odd names and bizarre rules than the calendar and our time-keeping system in general, and we are told in our ritual that Freemasonry has been in existence since time immemorial, with references to Egyptian hieroglyphical figures and Pythagoras.
