Brethren, some of you will have had the experience in recent years of hearing your minister of religion preaching against Freemasonry from the pulpit of your parish church.
Some of you will have friends and acquaintances, devout Christians, who find your lodge membership unpalatable or even an impediment to continued friendship.
Such experiences can sow seeds of doubt in your own mind. They can cause you to wonder whether your own lodge membership is, indeed, compatible with your continuing church membership, or with your own Christian beliefs.
