For several reasons, Brethren, we have combined to form this Lodge of Research and have stated clearly in our by-laws, that he aims and objects shall be to conduct research in the history, teachings, principles and practice of Freemasonry, and, further, to disseminate Masonic knowledge by means of lectures, discussions, demonstrations and papers.
It is our aim, therefore, not only to pursue our own studies and improve our own knowledge of Freemasonry, but also, by passing on that knowledge, to be of service to our Brethren in other parts the State and, perhaps, in other parts of the World.
