The title of my lecture, "The Craft of Roman Catholicism" has posed many more problems than I foresaw at the beginning.
It is obvious that there are two parts to the title and the second of these, the Craft, presents few problems in definition.
I am sure if any one of us was pressed to define the Craft he would be able to do so with little difficulty.
The answers to the test question in the first degree provide a simple and easily understood definition "a peculiar system of morality veiled in allegory and ilustrated by signs".
