Description

In the quarry he would first need to measure the size of the stone-block he wished to cut; he would need a gauge or measuring stick.

After that he would need the S. to make the stone true, and, coming to the building, would need the L. and P.R. to set it in proper position.

The assistant, or F.C. would hold these tools in assisting the builder.
