A SHORT TIME AGO, a Mason of nearly fifty years membership informed me that it was his considered opinion that there was nothing in Freemasonry—that Masonry had nothing to offer.
One wonders why this man retained his membership with the Craft for such a long period.
Did he make any effort to sincerely solve the meaning of our symbols or the hidden truth which underlie every word of our beautiful ritual, and use that knowledge for spiritual profit?
Had he made any attempt to contemplate the intellectual profit? Had he made any attempt to contemplate the intellectual faculty and trace it through the paths of heavenly science?
