After some deliberation I decided that perhaps some-thing on the History and Origins of our Craft would interest them, and maybe refresh the memories of the older brethren.
When we hear reference made to our Antient and Honourable Institution our minds may immediately fly off into the mists of antiquity, but unfortunately our recorded history will take us back only to the 13th or 14th centuries, at which period our craft was beginning to have some impact on public affairs, particularly in the main centres, to which the Craft Guilds at that time were restricted.
