In this paper I wish to give you an idea of the training and work of a Tohunga or Priest of the ancient Maori Religion, and the many parallels between his work and training and our own, to do this I must first give a short time to the Maori Religion itself and the Ancient Maori beliefs, which also march arm in arm to an amazing degree with our own Religion and beliefs, particularly with what we believe and practise in the Masonic Order.
