ABOUT two years ago I delivered an address to the brethren of Haeata Lodge upon the subject which has just been announced.
I thought at the time it was one which was capable of further development, and to-night I take the liberty of addressing this Hawke's Bay Lodge of Research on the same subject.
Haeata brethren now present who heard me deliver the previous address, and who have good memories, may detect a resemblance between the two addresses up to a point, but for the most part they will find no resemblance at all, because there is not any. I trust, therefore, that even for them the evening will not be entirely without profit.
