Of all the environmental scenarios that captivated the imagination of humankind, none has exceeded that of the night sky.
One might argue that the Sun would demand its rightful share, and there may be some justification in that. There is no doubt that the Sun and Moon have seized their share of humanity's interest.
However, there is not the slightest doubt that the night sky, with its thousands of jeweled specks scattered randomly, provided artistic invention that gave rise to the allusion of what they represented.
