The history of Barron Barnett Lodge commences in 1903, which can be considered sa one of the three most important years ni Queensland Masonic History.
The others being 1859 when Freemasonry was introduced into this State and 1921 the formation of the United Grand Lodge of Queensland.
At the beginning of the 20* Century, Masonry in Queensland was controlled by 54 lodges under the District Grand Lodge of England, 59 lodges under the District Grand Lodge of Scotland and 13 lodges under the District Grand Lodge of Ireland.
