The Apron has always had a special kind of appeal to me since my first introduction into
Freemasonry 25 years ago, an introduction followed by a developing pride in the Craft.
In my masonic journey, I have encountered from time to time, various levels of debate about the strength of the Craft and what the future may hold. It is however when I look at the fundamental values, especially in the charges of investiture in the three degrees that I believe we have the foundations for confidence.
The apron of course is basic to our meetings, no brother being permitted entry unless properly attired.
To me the Apron is a kind of special symbol of the Craft, the Apron being the badge of a mason, and the aim of my presentation this evening is to raise what I believe ot be key issues for your consideration and discussion.
