It had been a long campaign, many months in fact, as part of the army of the Duke of Wellington, and now that the glorious days of Waterloo were over, the regiment, that is the 7th Light Dragoon Guards had been reformed and were back to the familiar barrack square.
The Lodge was No. 262, now extinct.
